Evelyn Digirolamo

Evelyn (she/her) is a performer, theater maker, aerialist, and teaching artist from Lakeland, Florida. She is the leader of Sandbox’s aerial wing, The Swingset.
Evelyn teaches socio-emotional skills through the arts with Upstream Arts, trains law enforcement in deescalation with Barbara Schneider Crisis Actor Troupe, and leads therapeutic dramatic play with the ALIVE program.
Kristina Fjellman

Kristina (she/her) is a creator, performer and visual artist from Chugiak, Alaska. Her work as a fiber artist has earned her a Jerome Foundation grant and numerous gallery shows. She is a graduate of St. Catherine University with a MAED in Art and Theater Education, and a founding member of The Winding Sheet Outfit.
Peter Heeringa

Peter (he/him) is a creator, director, performer and educator from Minneapolis, and is the acting Artistic Director of Sandbox Theatre. He holds a BA in Theatre from the University of St. Thomas, and an MFA in Theatre: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University in Boulder, CO.
In addition to Sandbox, Peter works in performance collaboration Dolan//Heeringa.
Ryan Hill

Ryan (he/him) is a multidisciplinary theater artist and educator from Northern Wisconsin, now based in Oakland, California. He has spent over 20 years experimenting and playing with movement-based storytelling, specializing in ensemble collaboration and mask performance. A graduate of Hamline University and Fulbright Scholar, he has built new work in Berlin, New York, the Twin Cities and around the Bay Area.

Megan (she/her) is a theatre artist, educator and mother from Minneapolis. She holds degrees from the College of St. Catherine, with a BA in Theatre and a MA in Education.
Theo Langason

Theo (he/him) is a multidisciplinary theatre and teaching artist from Minneapolis. A graduate of Rutgers University–Camden with a degree in Theatre Arts, Theo has been working in the Twin Cities as an actor, director, musician, composer, improviser, poet, and teaching artist for a decade. In addition to his work as a company member of Sandbox, he is a co-artistic director of Red Eye Theater, a member of Blackout Improv, and a regular cast member of The Theater of Public Policy.
Jaya Robillard

Jaya (she/her) is a stage manager and theatre artist from Chatham, NJ. She is a graduate of Yale University.
Hal Sansone

Hal (he/him) is an actor, theatre maker, and love poet. In addition to creating with Sandbox, he has been independently producing collaborative theatre productions and caregiving for trans communities since 2017, often at the same time. Hal has also been a teaching artist for a decade, specializing in queer and trans theatre curriculums. He holds a BA in Theatre Arts – Performance Creation from the University of Minnesota and is an alum of the Young Company at First Stage Children’s Theater.
